Canadian turntable whiz Kid Koala is set to release his "turntable blues record, whatever that means" on September 17 via Ninja Tune.
Titled 12 Bit Blues, the album's lead single "8 Bit Blues (Chicago to LA to NY)" has now received the video treatment. Impressively, the clip was directed by Kid Koala himself and was filmed in one shot, without any edits.
Most of the action takes place on top of a colourful map with various objects (playing cards, etch-a-sketches, dominoes) spelling out the area codes of the title cities.
