Kanye West Says Getting Dropped by Balenciaga and 'Drink Champs' Was "The Happiest Day" of His Life

Here we go again

Another day, another opportunity for Kanye West to say something out of pocket. After getting dropped by Adidas earlier today, Ye has called the day that Balenciaga and Drink Champs cut ties with him one of the highlights of his existence.

Speaking with MIT research scientist Lex Fridman, the rapper reflected on a big day for him — which included talks with Parler CEO George Farmer, as well as being dropped by two of his previous allies.

"There was a day where I was headed to Nashville to meet with George Farmer, who is the CEO of Parler, the day when we made the announcement," he said. "At that same day, Balenciaga was taking my imagery off of their site, and the Drink Champs [episode] was being taken down, and I said, 'This is the happiest day of my life.' I love cutting the grass low. People really wasn't with you. They was part-time."

He went on to say, "I rather have people who are really with me and not people who are trying to use me," which is rich considering most companies (besides Parler, the right-wing social media platform he is attempting to buy) have ended their affiliations with him.

It goes without saying the past few weeks have been plagued by West's antisemitic and otherwise offensive comments. Beyond threatening to go "death con 3" on Jewish people, he has also spread false information about George Floyd's death, saying he died of a fentanyl overdose.

All of the above, on top of him wearing a "White Lives Matter" shirt with Candace Owens at a Paris fashion show, has been enough for many of his associates — including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian — to distance themselves.
