Jorja Smith has already mapped out a tour of North America that's set to kick off this spring, and before she travels across the pond, the UK vocalist has shared a new track.

Titled "Let Me Down," the melancholic number features an appearance from UK grime star Stormzy, who offers up a subdued verse of his own. You can hear the song in the player below.

Speaking with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio, Smith revealed the two actually wrote the song back in 2016. As she tells it, Stormzy "floated onto the track," making the team-up feel effortless.

"'Let Me Down' is about meaning very little to someone but being okay with that even though it hurts," Smith explained in a statement. "A dream of mine is to write a Bond theme tune. When I am writing music I sometimes envision a video playing alongside. 'Let Me Down' sounded quite Bondy, and when I was listening to it, I imagined it being played in a Bond film, but during a scene when James Bond has gone down into an underground, dimly lit, secret bar and he approaches the Bond girl who is sitting at the bar looking very guilty, because she's done something bad and let him down."
