After bringing his I Jonathan album to vinyl in 2020, Jonathan Richman has now shared plans to reissue a series of '70s recordings alongside the Modern Lovers, ahead of a fall tour of North America.
This fall, Omnivore Recordings will bring 1976's Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers (out August 19), 1977's Rock 'n' Roll with the Modern Lovers (September 16) and Modern Lovers 'Live' (October 21), and 1979's Back in Your Life (November 11) back to vinyl and CD formats for the first time in North American since their respective initial releases.
All four titles are now available for pre-order via the label, and you can watch a trailer for the reissues below.
Richman has also announced a North American tour alongside drummer Tommy Larkins set to take place this October. A lone Canadian stop on the trek comes in Toronto at the Opera House on October 23.
