James Taylor & His All-Star Band Announce Rescheduled Canadian Tour

Jackson Browne will replace Bonnie Raitt on the trek

James Taylor & His All-Star Band and Bonnie Raitt were scheduled to perform a string of Canadian shows way back in 2020 before the pandemic came along and ruined everyone's plans. Now, Taylor has rescheduled those dates, replacing Raitt with Jackson Browne on a 12-day coast-to-coast run.

The tour is scheduled to kick off in spring 2022, beginning with an East Coast leg that commences in St. John's on April 21. Along the way, the musicians will perform in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and more.

"Jackson Browne and I have been touring together this summer and fall and he has agreed to come to Canada with me," Taylor wrote of the tour in a statement. "We've been delighted with the response from our audiences on this current tour of the States and I'm hoping that those of you who have been holding onto tickets for the Canadian concerts will be pleased with the surprise change in the bill."

The artist notes that those who had their hearts set on seeing Raitt will be eligible for a refund. Previously purchased tickets will be honoured on the newly rescheduled dates.
