J. Robbins Recruits Members of Far, Dead Endings for Moral Mazes

Washington, DC musician J. Robbins has already led a vast and influential career. After serving time in legendary bands like Government Issue, Jawbox, Burning Airlines and many more, the post-punk luminary has developed an impressive resume as a recording engineer. His own output has never slowed down, however. Following recent work with Office of Future Plans, Robbins has formed a new group called Moral Mazes.

The project sees Robbins re-teaming with his former Office mate Darren Zentek, alongside Dead Ending's Jeff Dean and Far's Jonah Matranga.

We don't have a taste of any music yet, but it's coming. On September 2, the group will release "The Long Way" and "Stay Unprepared" on a 7-inch called Magic Tommy Jackson. The reason for the title is somewhat explained in the artwork, a mash-up on Samuel L. Jackson, Tommy Lee Jones and Magic Johnson.

Magic Tommy Jackson is set to arrive via hardcore imprint Bridge 9.
