Having revealed their event ambassadors for 2024, the minds behind Record Store Day have now shared the complete list of exclusive and limited titles arriving for the annual celebration of record culture and independent music dealers.
Highlights of this year's list include new albums from Pearl Jam and Neil Young & Crazy Horse with Dark Matter and FU##IN' UP, respectively (reissue Mirrorball, please), the Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die Instrumentals, a 4LP collection of Linda Ronstadt's Asylum Albums, a long-awaited reissue of Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson's Winter in America, and the vinyl debut of the 2005 self-titled debut from Team Sleep — the project led by Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno featuring drummer Zach Hill, Mary Timony and more.
Other titles leaping off the list include a 7-inch from Dave Grohl and Anthrax players Charlie Benante and Scott Ian as G.B.I., an expanded edition of Wilco's The Whole Love, represses of Young Thug's JEFFERY, Lil Uzi Vert's Luv Is Rage and Fetty Wap's self-titled debut, an anniversary re-release of Carboot Soul from Nightmares on Wax, and — in the event you somehow don't have it yet — a picture disc edition of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.
The Beatles are also well-represented on this year's list, led by Fab Four-themed 3-inch turntable and accompanying 3-inch cuts of "She Loves You," "Til There Was You," "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "I Saw Her Standing There." George Harrison's two avant-garde solo LPs, Wonderwall Music and Electronic Sound, will get the reissue treatment, while Ringo Starr's forthcoming country EP Crooked Boy will also be a part of the day's proceedings.
The list packs in plenty more titles from 100 gecs, Pharaoh Sanders, Air, Todd Rundgren, Sun Ra, Gene Clark, the Residents, G. Love & Special Sauce, Public Enemy, Militarie Gun, Donna Summer, Fleet Foxes, Nico, Pixies, Daft Punk, Motörhead, Jenny Lewis, Willie Nelson, Yes, Alan Parsons Project, Tom Tom Club, the Doors, David Bowie and many more.
