Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Alexisonfire, TOBi, Alanis Morissette

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Mar 11, 2022

It's Alexisonfire's world this week. We're all just living in it.

Yes, the post-hardcore legends announced their first new album in 13 years — but that wasn't all: a slew of other Canadian artists delivered the goods and we've compiled the best of the week's offerings.

Allison Russell shared a remix of "All of the Women" in honour of International Women's Day, while Jacques Greene remixed international woman Ouri. TOBi and Harrison linked up — as did Royal Canoe and Dill the Giant, William Prince and Serena Ryder, and Ken Yates and Kathleen Edwards — to get "Outta This World," while Alanis Morissette extended an olive branch (and finally plotted a Canadian Jagged Little Pill anniversary tour).

This week also saw album releases from Apollo Ghosts (Pink Tiger), Broken Social Scene's Sam Jr. and current featured Exclaim! New Faves artist Kee Avil, as well as the debut EP from New Faves alum Nemahsis.

Get your sweet dreams and your otherness in equal measure with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
