ANTI- has given an official release to a previously unheard Sparklehorse song called "It Will Never Stop."
The track was discovered by Matt Linkous — brother to late bandleader Mark Linkous, who died in 2010. When he began to oversee Mark's estate and archive his recordings, Matt found "It Will Never Stop" among the tapes. It was recorded at Static King and Montrose Recording, and it was produced by him, alongside Melissa Moore Linkous and Alan Weatherhead, the latter also contributing additional guitar.
"Great care has been taken to archive and preserve Mark's music," Matt said in a release. "We are very thankful for Mark and the beauty he brought to this world."
Clocking in at under two minutes long, "It Will Never Stop" is propelled by a driving rhythm through a granular and warped soundscape, echoing many Sparklehorse classics.

In 2019, Danger Mouse unearthed an archival track with both Sparklehorse and MF DOOM.
