After teasing the arrival of some CMFT B-Sides earlier this month, Corey Taylor has now delivered with the CMFB... Sides EP, which includes a cover of Tom Cochrane and Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe."

Taylor guides the Toronto rockers' 1981 single in an acoustic direction, amounting to a tasteful take on the original in which he retains some of Cochrane's call-and-response vocals. You can compare and contrast his version with Red Rider's original in the players below.

The CMFB... Sides EP also includes Taylor's cover of Metallica's "Holier Than Thou" (which did not place very high in our Metallica Blacklist ranking), KISS' "Got to Choose," Eddie Money's "Shakin'," acoustic versions of CMFT's "Kansas" and "Halfway Down," and more.

Along with a tease of a CMFT sequel album, Taylor also recently confirmed that a new Slipknot album is complete.
