Helado Negro has shared a cover of Neil Young's Comes a Time song, "Lotta Love."
Arriving through the artist's new label home of 4AD, the artist's new version features Flock of Dimes, Devendra Banhart, Adron and Trey Pollard on piano.
"I was captivated by the song's sincerity and wondered how to make a version that compelled you to step closer to the words," the artist born Roberto Carlos Lange said in a statement.
"I wanted it to be hymnal and spiritual outside of religion," he continued. "I interpreted the theme of the song to be about protection. How do we protect each other? Creating this version helped me find some sonic respite and hopefully it does the same for others."
Lange's latest full-length album was 2019's This Is How You Smile.
