Organizers behind Kitchener, ON's free Endless Summer festival — a brand-new encore to the sunniest season — have announced the full lineup of Canadian acts who will perform at the inaugural edition, scheduled to take place on September 7.
Born Ruffians, Rêve, Helado Negro, TALK and I, the Mountain will all take the outdoor stage at Victoria Park in the downtown area between 2 and 11 p.m., with flavours of the city coming together from local food trucks and a licensed bar area — in addition to free interactive activities, a photo zone and more.
"Endless Summer will help us keep the summer going into September as the festival highlights some of Canada's newest top talent, along with artists and businesses from across our community," Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic said in a press release. "We're inviting music fans from across Southern Ontario to join us for the first year of this incredible festival, in what I am sure will be an unforgettable celebration as we look to wind up summer 2024!"
Kitchener is located just approximately 100 km from Toronto, with regularly scheduled GO Transit routes running between the two cities. Visit the event's website for further details.
