Supergrass are done, meaning that former frontman Gaz Coombes is throwing himself into promoting Gaz Coombes Presents... Here Come the Bombs, his recently released solo album. To help spread the word, Coombes just dropped a music video for the album track "Simulator."
The clip shows a group of identically dressed drones gathered in a cinema to watch a brainwash video by a company called Simucom. This turns out to be a clip of Combs performing the spazzy pop rock tune while backed by a team of silver-clad robo-dancers. The all-white set is eventually doused in eerie red lights, making these dystopian visuals all that much more unsettling.
Gaz Coombes Presents... Here Come the Bombs is available in Canada now through Dine Alone Records.
