Between releasing his debut album in January, embarking on a European tour and playing a handful of reunion dates with Texas Is the Reason, Garrett Klahn is showing no signs of slowing with a run of Canadian tour dates on the horizon.
Kicking off at the tail end of June and stretching through July, Klahn will play 15 shows on a tour route that is billed as a true coast-to-coast experience, foregoing the Vancouver/Toronto/Montreal axis many touring bands take through the Great White North. Edmonton punks Slates and songwriter Eamon McGrath will lend support to Klahn on each coast, with Slates taking care of dates in Western Canada and McGrath joining him in Ontario to take on dates there and in Quebec.
"These guys are lifers and amazing musicians themselves, and have some serious connections to other like-minded souls all over Canada," Klahn said in a statement. "Obviously, the shows and the music and the people are the main reason for all of this, but a close second is getting to drive through some of the wilds of Canada... 99% of this tour will be fully uncharted territory for me. That alone is enough reason for me to say 'YES' to everything that's come our way."
Klahn released his self-titled solo debut back in January through Rise Records. Take a look at the entire tour itinerary below.
