Garbage "Empty" (video)

Feel like filling your day with some more Garbage? Well, you can do just that by giving the long-time alt-rock outfit's new video for Strange Little Birds single "Empty" a peep online.

As previously reported, the track hits that Garbage-style post-grunge sweetness via detuned rock riffs, a few snake-like licks, and glossy neon synth work. For the video, we're treated to a simply-stated performance from the band, with Butch Vig straight up bashing his drums.

Bathed in multi-coloured light, Shirley Manson clutches an old-style microphone while singing about battling various demons, and, naturally, feeling empty.
