Gang of Four have mapped out a 2022 North American tour behind recently released box set 77-81.
The 20-date trek, which begins next March in Minneapolis, features a pair of Canadian dates on the itinerary and will see the band perform songs from the aforementioned era.
On March 4, Gang of Four will play Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern, ahead of closing out the tour with a final performance at Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club on March 25.
Gang of Four's lineup will see founders Jon King and Hugo Burnham line up alongside 1980s-era bassist Sara Lee, while David Pajo will join the band on guitar. A press release notes that bassist Dave Allen will not appear for personal reasons, though he "remains an essential and vital part of the band."

Gang of Four's founding guitarist Andy Gill died in February 2020. The band then released two EPs featuring some of his final recordings.
This past May, a Gang of Four tribute album was released in Gill's honour, featuring Tom Morello, Serj Tankian, Helmet, Warpaint, and more.
