Future

"Substitute Everything"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 12, 2013

Despite being one of the biggest names in the contemporary rap and R&B world, Future notes that fame's not all it's cracked up to be in new tune "Substitute Everything."

There's a smidge of sadness to Future's AutoTuned croon this time around, with the artist noting he's been poppin' Xanax and sipping codeine to cope with the pressures of the game. Throughout the woozy, contemplative number, he mentions he's been too busy to meet up with his fam these days, and it's obviously bumming him out.

You'll find the teary track down below.

"Substitute Everything" is currently featured on DJ Esco and DJ X-Rated's Drugs mixtape, which also features previously premiered tracks from Jay Z and Rick Ross ("Know I Got It"), Mike WiLL Made It's recent "23," and other assorted tunes from Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and more. You'll find the whole tape down below as well and can download it here.

Future's Honest LP, meanwhile, is due November 26.
