Fucked Up Stream Their Epic 'Year of the Snake'

After pulling back the curtain on the next instalment of the band's "Zodiac Series" last month, Canadian punk behemoths Fucked Up have let loose their epic Year of the Snake. Before the album officially arrives on March 24, the sprawling 24-minute release is up to stream in full.

As previously reported, the 24-minute-long Year of the Snake is the eighth entry in the band's 12-song series dedicated to the Chinese zodiac. It follows recent instalments such as 2015's Year of the Hare and 2014's Year of the Dragon.

In an interview with Noisey, Fucked Up's Mike Haliechuk said this of Year of the Snake: "It's about how to die, or how to think about dying."

He added: "Well, it's kind of about how the process is within life. How you are constantly thinking about it and living it. Like how you are being reborn, reshaped, and how you can go thru something and come out the other end as something else."

You can hear how that plays out musically down below, where you'll also find Fucked Up's upcoming tour dates.
