The tragic SXSW car crash just keeps on getting worse. Previously, three victims died and nearly two dozen were injured following the incident in the early hours of March 13, and now a fourth person has passed away.

This afternoon (March 27), the police department in Austin, TX, tweeted, "DeAndre Tatum, the 4th victim of the #SXSW crash, passed away as a result of his injuries. His family is in our thoughts and prayers."

The deceased also include Jamie Ranae West, Steven Craenmehr and Sandy Le.

Suspect Rashad Owens, of Killeen, TX, has been charged with capital murder. If found guilty, he could face the death penalty. Reports indicate that Owens, who had allegedly been drinking, evaded police by driving down a one-way street. He broke through a police barricade, hitting vehicles and pedestrians before fleeing his car on foot and getting tasered.

Owens is an aspiring hip-hop musician known as KillingAllBeatz, or K.A.B254. His bail at the Travis County Jail was set at $3 million.

The charity SXSW Cares has been set up to aid those affected by the crash.
