A more appropriate name for this barebones concert DVD would have been Alive & Recruiting, as evidenced by the many unfamiliar faces helping guitarist and Foreigner founder Mick Jones run through tight, faithful renditions of hits like "Hot Blooded, "Cold As Ice, "Urgent and "Jukebox Hero. Closer inspection reveals Jason Bonham on drums and former Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, but thats as close as this classic rock posse gets to super-group status. Joness new ace in the hole, however, is vocalist Kelly Hansen, who mustve had the crowd at Germanys Bang Your Head Festival wondering how Lou Gramm managed to grow all of his hair back (and then some) and lose enough weight to squeeze into those obscenely tight denim lederhosen. Still, despite Idol-worthy karaoke skills, Hansen hasnt been around long enough to earn the gratuitous crotch shots so liberally peppered throughout this mercifully short set.
