Influential UK jangle-pop band Felt are the next group getting revisited with a new vinyl reissue campaign. While details are scarce, it looks as if their long-out-of-print catalogue will be getting repressed by Captured Tracks.

The news was first hinted at by label boss Mike Sniper, who posted an image of a Captured Tracks print ad on his Instagram along with the caption "Well how about that? #feltreissues." The image includes the album art for Felt's 1987 singles compilation Gold Mine Trash.

In the comments of the photo, Sniper clarified that the label hopes to eventually reissue all of the Felt records.

Captured Tracks confirmed the news on Twitter, saying the reissue campaign is "starting with the compilations." The label added that the reissues will be vinyl only, as all of the band's albums are still in print through Cherry Red.

Felt existed from 1979 to 1989. In that time they released 10 full-length albums and 12 singles. There are also five compilations. In other words, if all goes as planned Captured Tracks is going to be reissuing Felt material for a while.
