There are few people you can count on in this world, but when it comes to Canadian hip-hop producer Factor (a.k.a. Graham Murawsky), you better believe he's going to stand by his promise of releasing a new single every month as part of his Factor Friday's Single Series.
We've already heard joints for January, February, March and April of this year. Now, the Saskatoon-based beatmaker is ready to issue another track, this time in the form of the Evil Ebenezer-assisted "Paul Giamatti."
The fifth offering from Factor's 12-part series is a modest affair, clocking in at less than four minutes in length, but much like the under-appreciated actor that shares its namesake, "Paul Giamatti" is equal parts style and substance. Anchored by a beefy bassline and slinky six-string riff, listen as Evil Ebenezer weaves his wicked wordplay in and out of Factor's introspective instrumentals.
The pair's recent partnership was so successful they've apparently decided to release a full-length later this year, with a Canadian tour in honour of the LP beginning sometime this June.
Until they visit a town near you, tide yourself over by listening to "Paul Giamatti" in the player below.
