Ill be the first to admit that I can reluctantly count on two fingers the Metal Blade albums I enjoy. So it came as quite a surprise when Evergreen Terraces latest held even moderate appeal. If breakdowns are what you crave, Wolfbiker delivers on almost all of its ten tracks. "High Tide or No Tide really shines, with "Where There is Fire We Will Carry Gasoline coming in a close second. Vocalist Andrew Carey stands his ground with his caustic throat work throughout, while the consistent pounding brought forth by Kyle Mims backs him up with that same element of hard. And with guitarists Joshua James and Craig Chaney complementing each other and meshing with bassist Jason Southwell, the album wont disappoint even tentative Evergreen Terrace fans.
