Evan Dando

The presence of the Lemonheads’ Evan Dando at NXNE this year was an obviously buzz-worthy topic as people continued to chatter about it right up until the front-man stepped onto the stage. With acoustic guitar in hand, the man whose sobriety everybody was questioning (for the record, he seemed pretty together) played through every song you could possibly think of, barely breaking to even take a breath. His cover of Christina Aguilera’s "Beautiful” was what made everybody’s glassy-eyed fascination finally break, and Dando was even called back out for an encore. This was ’90s nostalgia at its best.
