After expanding the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour last summer, Elton John has made some more additions to his final North American stadium trek — a hotly anticipated ticket, according to the results of Exclaim!'s 2021 Readers Poll.
A slew of 11 new dates will see the legend make stops in some new US locales and play additional nights in several cities, including Toronto on September 8 and Vancouver on October 22. He has a big catalogue of hits to get through, after all — one night surely isn't enough.
"It's hard to believe that after tomorrow in St. Louis, I'll have just a handful of shows left before I wrap up my final arena performances in the United States," John told Rolling Stone. "This year will see my grand finale in North America, playing stadiums all around the country, with the most spectacular production I've ever had. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. I cherish these memories we're making together."
The tour kicks off in Philadelphia, PA, on July 15 and will now end with a three-night stand at Los Angeles' Dodgers Stadium, wrapping up on November 20.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 6 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, with various presales beginning tomorrow (March 30).
