Eddie C

Eddie C (aka Edward Currelly) is a nu-disco producer from Alberta, who for the past couple of years has been creating blissed-out disco grooves with a heavy dose of funky house, in addition to keeping busy remixing artists such as 9dw. Parts Unknown marks his debut full-length release on Endless Flight. The retro, funky opening track, "We Need We," grabs your attention with its unashamedly catchy vocal loop, proclaiming, "If we can get to ourselves, we deal with our problems." Positive, warm and light-hearted, the retro-style of the sounds and the production are meticulous. Eddie C isn't afraid to draw from the cheesiest side of disco, resulting in a fun, downtempo disco-house album that would make a great soundtrack to summer patio lounging sessions, with some funky-as-hell bass lines that will make you want to get up out of that chair and shake your stuff.
