Less than a week away from the release of a new album, Ed Sheeran has announced that he has positive and is delaying all in-person commitments.
In a post on Instagram, Sheeran said that he is "self-isolating and following government guidelines." He didn't offer any details about his condition and how he's feeling, but he did note that he's "doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house," so it seems that he's not feeling too ill.
Sheeran will release his album = this coming Friday (October 29). He doesn't have any tour dates until spring 2022.
He is currently scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live in two weeks, on November 6.
