Following the release of their self-titled debut album this summer, Toronto's Dwayne Gretzky have shared a brand new video for their cover of Queens of the Stone Age's "Make It Wit Chu."
Credited with the video's direction and animation is Anne Douris of Bossie. The video itself is a surrealist collage of morphing faces, autonomous body parts and flying objects, animated in a style akin to Monty Python.
Douris had the following to say in a statement about the music video:
I wanted to create a sort of visual fusion — mixing old cut out imagery with digital 3D graphics — to mirror the themes of merging you/me, old/new and past/present that are happening in this reimagined version of the song.
This isn't the first time Dwayne Gretzky have collaborated with Douris. Back in May, they released another Douris-animated video for their debut album's first track, a cover of ABBA's "S.O.S."
