New wave veterans Duran Duran have announced a North American tour.
The group will be hitting the road throughout the spring and summer, playing lots of US dates with openers Bastille and Nile Rodgers & Chic. The outing will wrap up with a lone Canadian date: Toronto on September 19.
UPDATE (6/15, 12:32 p.m. ET): Duran Duran have added a performance in Montreal to the end of the tour. They're now scheduled to play Centre Bell on September 20. See the updated schedule below.
Presales will take place next week ahead of tickets going on sale to the general public on February 16 at 10 a.m. local time. More information can be found at the band's website.
The tour is in support of the 2021 album Future Past. Singer Simon Le Bon said in a statement, "It's remarkable to me that as a band, we are still hitting new milestones, and introducing the sound of DD to new generations of music lovers. We are truly grateful that we get to do what we do on a daily basis, and that we still love our job as much as we did when we started out some four decades ago."
