Dropkick Murphys

Standing at the forefront of the oi resurgence is Boston's Dropkick Murphys. The material on this CD is culled from their early singles and splits plus a few unreleased live tracks, most of which feature original singer Mike McColgan on vocals. With 24 songs in just under an hour, this is a good sampling of their beginnings. Fans of this band should do themselves a favour and pick up the first couple of Clash records and Inflammable Material by Stiff Little Fingers to get a better idea of where the Dropkicks are coming from.
