A New Orleans artist named Sam Skully (real name Samuel Nicholas III) has sued Drake for improperly sampling his work on Scorpion songs "In My Feelings" and "Nice for What."

As TMZ reports, Nicholas claims that Drake sampled his song "Roll Call" on "In My Feelings" without asking permission or paying out. He has also accused Drake and Big Freedia of using another of his beats for "Nice for What."

Nicholas said he released the music in question in New Orleans in 2000.

In addition to seeking damages from Drake and Big Freedia, Nicholas has also named labels Asylum, Cash Money and Republic in the suit.
