Last month, Sarnia-born folk troubadour Donovan Woods announced the cancellation of select Canadian shows toward the end of his North American tour, as he needed to undergo surgery. Now, the singer-songwriter has shared that he'll continue supporting his latest LP, Things Were Never Good If They're Not Good Now, on the road into the new year with some new solo acoustic West Coast concerts, as well as rescheduled dates for the cancelled Ontario and Quebec gigs.
After his promised post-recovery return for concerts in Kitchener and Toronto with Charlotte Cornfield and Billianne this December, Woods will be back out there making the rounds next year, starting on January 21 in Red Deer. From there, he'll play additional new engagements in Sherwood Park (January 23), Saskatoon (January 24) and Regina (January 25) before returning to the central part of the country for those make-up shows.
While previously held tickets are obviously still being honoured at the rescheduled dates, ones for the newly announced gigs go on sale Friday (November 8). See Woods's full itinerary below.
