Diplo Accused of Sexual Coercion, Filming Without Consent in New Lawsuit

After being accused of "distributing revenge porn" back in November, Diplo has once again been named in a lawsuit that claims he filmed a sex act against the will of an alleged victim.

According to a report by TMZ, a plaintiff's filing to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (June 7) claims that Diplo (a.k.a. Thomas Wesley Pentz) brought her back to his hotel after a performance, pumped her full of alcohol and cannabis, and then told her she wasn't allowed to leave until she performed oral sex on him.

The accuser also alleged that Pentz filmed the act against her will, and when a friend stepped in to help her, Diplo's security team assaulted him.

Diplo has denied the claims through a statement issued by his attorney, Bryan Freedman, who said the accusations are "wildly untrue," stating that the claims in the suit too-closely mirror accusations put forth by another alleged victim.

Freedman wrote [via TMZ]:

This complaint is completely outrageous, wildly untrue and yet also entirely predictable, given that it simply repeats the exact same claim already made by the plaintiff's friend Shelly Auguste, an individual who has been harassing Mr. Pentz and his family for more than a year and already has repeatedly violated the restraining order issued against her.

We have irrefutable evidence that this is a completely meritless claim and we will be providing it to a court as quickly as we possibly can to put an end to this shakedown by Ms. Auguste and her accomplices once and for all.
