Eminem lashed out at plenty of his hip-hop peers on his latest effort Kamikaze, and now South African rap duo Die Antwoord have followed in the footsteps of Machine Gun Kelly and responded with a diss track of their own.
On "Greatest," Eminem goes after the pair, rapping:
I know there's people that are pissed about the way
I mispronounced a name, "DIE ANTWOORD!"
Fuck, I still can't say this shit,
but how quickly they forget
Who the fuck I was
Now Ninja try to duck my slugs
To let ya girl get fucked by Muggs
Last night (September 5), Ninja and Yolandi Visser took to YouTube to hit back at Em with a freestyle.
Ninja starts out by clarifying that "Vissy" is just his best friend and gives a shout-out to Muggs.
Then he claims, "You used to rap better on drugs," and tells him the kids prefer Die Antwoord to Eminem these days.
He continues, "You went out like Michael Jordan, damn! / Retired as a god and came back as a man," as Visser giggles in the background.
He closes out the rap by repeating, "E-M-I-N-E-M, R-I-P" a few times for good measure.
