German death/thrashers Dew Scented have returned with another album full of crushing guitar riffs, catchy rhythms and technical prowess. Reminiscent at times of an earlier, heavier Slayer and the still much-missed At the Gates (R.I.P.), the band goes for the jugular on every song. The album is full of speedy, thrashy numbers that are quick and to the point. Much like their last album Inwards, the band have relied on the same formula this time around, albeit with a previously missing extra dose of brutality thrown into the mix. If you are a fan of Swedish bands such as the Haunted and Carnal Forge, this will not disappoint.
