Former Majical Cloudz frontman Devon Welsh has just released his third solo record. Previously only available through his Patreon, Click Here Now! is now available to download for free at Welsh's Bandcamp.
Recorded during lockdown at his new Wisconsin homestead, Welsh describes the spoken word effort as a "special album," which is a fair description, considering how much of a departure it is compared to his previous works.
"It's a musical interpretation of some poems I have published online in the last few months," he explained.
It's a modest way to describe an album that's part spoken word, part instrumental and part maniacal laughter. The six-track record, streaming below, also arrives with a visual component to accompany the closing song, "Walther PPK with Pickles, Peppers and Ketchup!"
Click Here Now! is Welsh's first release since his 2019 album True Love. He made his solo debut back in 2018 with Dream Songs after Majical Cloudz disbanded in 2016.
