d'Eon

'Music for Keyboards Vol. IV: Blackout'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 21, 2013

Ten months after Montreal synth wizard d'Eon last delivered an instalment to his Music for Keyboards series, the musician has unveiled the fourth free mixtape.

This latest instalment, Music for Keyboards Vol. IV: Blackout, is presented by Hippos in Tanks and apparently "fantasizes about the sounds of instruments in the physical world." This includes the keyboard-created harp tones of medieval chamber pieces like "Smallpox" and "Serf," hypnotizing Old World tambourine tappers "Diving for E-Waste" and "Sewer Mine," and more.

The 15-song set can be streamed down below and downloaded over here.
