Billie Eilish spent last week headlining a series of hometown shows in Los Angeles, and this included some noteworthy guests like Phoebe Bridgers, Khalid and Childish Gambino. She also brought out Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who told a poignant story about how Eilish made the Foo Fighters cry.

Grohl joined Eilish for an acoustic cover of "My Hero," and before the song, Grohl told a story about how the Foo Fighters got together at his house to watch the Grammy Awards.

"When Billie came out for her performance in the Taylor Hawkins T-shirt," Grohl remembered, "the room was filled with real tears of love and gratitude. So, from our families, who are here tonight — the Hawkins family and everyone — we'd like to thank you very much for that. So let's sing it for Taylor."

The Grammys took place on April 3 of this year, less than a week after Hawkins died on March 25 at the age of 50.

Watch the performance of "My Hero" below — as well as the aforementioned collabs with Childish Gambino, Khalid and Phoebe Bridgers.
