Dave Grohl is ultimately as human as anyone, but he's built a lasting reputation for himself as a good guy — the nicest guy in rock, even. A new confession from the Foo Fighters frontman adds a complicated wrinkle to that identity.
Today, Grohl took to Instagram to announce the birth of a daughter, born to an unidentified (let's not try and find her, please and thanks) woman who is not his wife Jordyn Blum, to whom he's been married since 2003.
Here's what Grohl wrote on his personal Instagram account, @davestruestories:
I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supporting parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.
Grohl and Blum have had three children together; Violet, Harper, and Ophelia. Best of luck to everyone involved, that's a toughie.
