Beefs 2014: Danny Brown Calls Out A$AP Mob for Cutting His Verse from "Hella Hoes"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 8, 2014

If you were hoping to hear a new collaboration between Danny Brown and A$AP Mob, then we've got some bad news for you: Brown recorded a verse for the new single "Hella Hoes," but A$AP Mob cut it from the final version and Brown isn't pleased.

Brown vented his frustrations in a series of a tweets, writing, "if u took time out your busy ass schedule to do a feature for somebody and they cut u off the song without telling you .. would u be hot??"

He went on to question if his verse was "wack" and decided, "fuck it all this rap shit fake anyway." He pointed out that he had wasted a day recording the verse, and even paid for the studio time.

Perhaps his harshest words, however, came when he wrote, "you worry about whats in your bank account .. i worry about my metacritic score ... u can't die wit ya money but album reviews are forever."

Still, apparently Brown is too bitter about the whole situation. When asked if a feud was going to erupt, he responded, "not at all them brothers they got me hot tho."
