Last year, Courtney Barnett confirmed that she'd been working on her highly anticipated sophomore LP, and gave us a ramen anthem with "Three Packs a Day." Keeping that foodie theme alive, she's now unveiled a tune titled "How to Boil an Egg."
The track has actually been kicking around for quite some time, with the Aussie singer-songwriter admitting she used to play it at open mics when she was 21, but it's just been recorded for a new 7-inch for the Milk! Records and Bedroom Suck collaborative project, Split Singles Club. Barnett confirmed that the track was laid down in the midst of recording demos for her next album.
She plays all of the parts on the track, and you can hear her show off her multi-instrumental talents in the player below.
