Courtney Barnett Adds North American Tour Dates, Unveils Ramen Anthem

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 11, 2016

Coming off a recent Grammy nom for Best New Artist, Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett's star continues to rise. To further promote her fabulous Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, she's extended her upcoming North American tour, adding a few Canadian dates in the process.

While the artist has a couple of shows coming up right away in her native Australia, the North American trek now kicks off on April 19 at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom. Following about a week's worth of dates and a bit of downtime, she picks things up again in May and will play Montreal's Virgin Mobile Corona Theatre on May 29.

You'll find all of the details of Barnett's newly updated tour dates, including stops at this year's Coachella, down below.

In related news, Barnett is set to release new music as part of an upcoming compilation from Milk! Records. The lightly jangled "Three Packs a Day," which is about Ramen noodles, can be streamed down below, while it officially sees release February 14 as part of the Good for You compilation. Other artists on the collection include Jen Cloher, Fraser A. Gorman, Ouch My Face, the Finks, and the East Brunswick All Girls Choir.
