While most of us are still salivating over Coliseum's last Relapse Records effort, No Salvation, released way back in the summer of 2007, it's never a bad time to hear that the hardcore/punk/metal outfit are putting out more music.
That's why it's a pleasure to disclose the sweet news that the Louisville sluggers have managed to squeak out a new slab of seven-inch vinyl for release on Deathwish, Inc.. Comprised of the tracks "True Quiet" and "Last Wave," the record boasts artwork by buddy/Baroness mainstay John Dyer Baizley and is sure to maintain the band's sonic girth and imposing ferocity.
Moreover, the single gives Coliseum an excuse to tour before tucking into their next full-length. No details are forthcoming on that record yet but let's enjoy the goodness that are these dates, which will see Coliseum share the stage with the likes of Bane, Converge, Ghengis Tron and Pulling Teeth at various points:
