Coheed and Cambria To Release Nine-Disc Box Set

BY Josiah HughesPublished Dec 22, 2008

From their love-'em-or-hate-'em vocals to their highly ambitious and conceptual albums, Coheed and Cambria are like Rush for the mall punk set. And they keep one-upping themselves. Following the release of their fourth album, 2007's Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow, the band have announced that they will be issuing Neverender, The Children of the Fence, a whopping nine-disc box set complete with four DVDs, four CDs and a documentary DVD as well as a 48-page hardcover book.

So where does all this content come from? Back in October, the band performed each of their four studio albums, Second Stage of the Turbine Blade, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness and Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow, before a live audience. The whole thing was recorded and filmed, and will be released on March 3.

Fans who preorder the album will have their name inscribed on one of the pages, while the first 3000 copies will come autographed by the band.
