Cocteau Twins are set to reissue their 1986 album with Harold Budd. The Moon and the Melodies will see its first vinyl pressing since its release on August 23 via 4AD.
The record has been remastered by Cocteau Twins' Robin Guthrie from its original tapes. In addition to the vinyl reissue, it will also be available on CD and digitally. Pre-orders can be made now.
Of the record, the band's Simon Raymonde said via press release, "It captured a moment in time between friends that are enjoying making music together. Really, that's the essence of it."
Alongside news of the reissue, Cocteau Twins have also uploaded HD versions of all their music videos to their YouTube Channel, made with masters found in 4AD and Universal Music's vaults. They've also launched a new online merch store.
