The first Piknik began with this Detroit/San Francisco producer, who was shamelessly hammering the crowd just after breakfast with ultra-heavy bass and a whole lot of his signature label sound, "Dirtybird”-style funk. He played a two-and-a-half-hour DJ set that explored deep and funky tech-house, some grime and Dirty South (Khia’s "My Neck, My Back”), as well as slamming down his two biggest hits "Who’s Afraid of Detroit?” and "The Whistler.”
