Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is arriving this Friday (November 17) and we've already gotten a few tastes of the upcoming animated series. Back at the end of October, we saw the full 90-second opening credits (featuring its banging theme song by Necry Talkie), and today, we get a mushy gushy trailer.
The new trailer follows Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers as they fall head over heels — dream encounter and cup-crushing party meet-cute(ish) included.
Created by Bryan Lee O'Malley and BenDavid Grabinski, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is based on O'Malley's original Scott Pilgrim graphic novels, and it includes the 2010 cult film's original cast.
Michael Cera returns to voice Pilgrim, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead comes back as Flowers, with Ellen Wong as Knives Chau, Brie Larson as Envy Adams and Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells (among others) to round it out.
