Nearly a full year ago, Cee Lo Green found himself in potential trouble when a woman came forward and accused him of sexual battery. Now, he's been cleared of at least some of the charges.
Green was accused of slipping ecstasy in a woman's drink at a Los Angeles restaurant, and then she blacked out, waking up to find herself naked in Cee Lo's bed.
TMZ reports that the Los Angeles District Attorney dismissed the case against Cee Lo due to a lack of evidence and conflicting facts. For one thing, authorities took issue with the fact that Cee Lo and the unnamed woman had already been dating for months and had a sexual relationship prior to the alleged assault.
Further, though the woman claimed she had a recording of Cee Lo discussing the incident, sources say he only actually mentioned ecstasy use and not anything about slipping it in her drink. As such, Cee Lo will only be charged with furnishing ecstasy. He'll likely just get probation.
