Published Sep 16, 2010This November, Toronto metal-leaning hardcore punks Cancer Bats will be touring their home province, and they're offering their fans some special incentives for buying tickets early.
Those who take advantage of the band's presale tickets will get a limited edition poster or have the option to purchase a VIP package that also includes guitar picks and other swag. Anyone who buys a VIP package will also be entered into a draw to win what the band is calling the "ultimate Cancer Bats fan package," which we can only hope will include a rowdy session of couch diving with the band.
The group, whose latest album is Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones, are fresh off the summer festival circuit, where they reportedly kicked a lot of ass at Leeds and Reading, as well as playing shows in Germany, Japan and Australia.
Support for all of the upcoming Ontario shows will be Christian metalcore stalwarts, The Chariot, featuring former Norma Jean screamer Josh Scogin.
