Sufficiently lubed after a shot of Jaeger and a few beers, Rollie Pemberton hit the Marquee stage ready to show the indie-centric audience which MC had the better goods that night (K-os played at another venue earlier). And along with DJ Weez-L, he delivered, electrifying the crowd with a speed of sound flow, out of this world beats and a few choice nuggets, such as remixes of Bowies "Lets Dance and Joy Divisions "Isolation. Cadence Weapon was the perfect end to possibly the best night of the HPX. Creative and unique just how Haligonians like their hip-hop heads.
